What's included in a furnished Dubai holiday home stay

What's included in a furnished Dubai holiday home stay

A furnished holiday home should be ready to live in the day you arrive. But “furnished” means different things in different places, so it helps to know what to look for and what to confirm.

The lists below reflect what appears in the amenity lists of Keys Please homes. They describe what is commonly shown, not a promise for every home. Each home is different, so always read the listing for what is included in that particular home.

Sleeping

Listings show the number of bedrooms, bathrooms and the bed layout (for example king, single or bunk). Many listings also list bed sheets, extra blankets, bedside tables and bedside lamps. Check the guest count and bed types against who is travelling.

Bathroom

Amenity lists commonly show towels, a bath mat, toiletries and a hair dryer. If you have specific needs, such as extra towels for a larger group, ask before you arrive.

Kitchen

Many listings show a kitchen with a cookware set, a cutlery set, a kettle, a toaster and an espresso machine. For a stay of a week or more, a working kitchen makes a real difference to your budget and your routine, so look at the photos and the amenity list for the home you are considering.

Laundry and cleaning basics

Amenity lists commonly show laundry, an iron and ironing board, a drying rack, a laundry basket and trash bags. For longer stays, ask about the Room Attendant service for the home: how often visits happen and what they cover. Do not assume; the arrangement depends on the home and the length of the stay.

Living space and entertainment

Listings commonly show a coffee table, rugs and a large TV. Some list entertainment extras. If you need a workspace, check the photos and ask about the internet connection, as covered in our guide to choosing an area for a work stay.

Safety and support

Many listings show a first aid kit among their amenities, and many list 24/7 guest support. If support hours matter to you, ask how the team can be reached and how quickly they respond.

Local touches

Some listings include a Qibla indicator and a visitor guide, which are useful when you are new to the city. If the listing does not mention something you consider essential, send a message and ask; a clear answer before you book is always better than a surprise on arrival.

What to confirm in writing

Some items are worth asking about directly, because they can differ by home and by stay length:

  • Utilities and internet. Whether electricity, water, cooling and internet are included, and whether any limits apply.
  • Housekeeping. The frequency of Room Attendant visits and what they cover.
  • Check-in and check-out. Times and how keys or access are handled.
  • Fees. Anything charged in addition to the stay price, such as a cleaning fee or deposit, shown on the listing for that home.
  • House rules. Guest numbers, visitors, pets and smoking.

A simple pre-booking checklist

  • Read the listing’s amenity list from top to bottom.
  • Look at every photo, especially the kitchen, bathroom and workspace.
  • Write down your three must-haves and ask about any that the listing does not mention.
  • Get the total price for your dates and what it covers.
